ELSA Law School Topic: Dispute Resolution Techniques Overview

Prof. Oberhammer was Prof. in Zurich and Halle-Wittenberg and is now teaching at the University of Vienna. As leading expert in international litigation and arbitration, focusing on the laws of Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland he is also working as Of Counsel for WilmerHale and is admitted to the bar in Hamburg.


           

Dr. Peter Adler, Mediator and Business Consultant

Dr. Adler has 30 years of experience as business man and consultant. Since 2004, he is  practicing as a mediator and since 2010 he is an external lecturer at the University of Vienna.

ELSA Law School Topic: Labour Disputes (Prevention and amicable Settlement)

Dr. Risak is Associate Professor at the Department of Labour Law and Law of Social Security at the University of Vienna where he researches and teaches in the field of Austrian, European and comparative Labour and Social Security Law as well as Mediation. He has been Professor for Civil Law and Labour Law at the University of Passau/Germany; a William Evans Visiting Fellow and a Marie Curie-Fellow at the University of Otago/New Zealand, and an associate with an international law firm/Vienna.

Prof Risak is the  editor of the Austrian Journal of Labour Law and Social Law as well the author of 14 books and more than 60 articles.

Mag. Alma Zadic, LL.M. (Columbia), Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Former President of ELSA Vienna

ELSA Law School Topic: Negotiation

Mag Zadic works at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP is a member of the firm’s dispute resolution practice group.

Before joining the firm, Alma was a visiting scholar at the Harriman Institute, Columbia University. Previously, she worked at the International Organisation for Migration and interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague.
Alma is a former President of ELSA Vienna.
