The ELSA Network comprises of almost 30 000 law students and young lawyers in 42 European countries. ELSA is represented in nearly 200 law faculties across Europe in Local Groups of ELSA that are all working for the aims and activities of ELSA.
ELSA is a unique and growing network of close to 30 000 young people from more than 200 universities in 42 countries across Europe. ELSA currently has members and observers in: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Macedonia, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and The United Kingdom. 


Furthermore, ELSA co-operates with other student organisations across the world, for instance Asian Law Students' Association in Asia.

Every law student and young lawyer in Europe can become a member of ELSA. This can either be done by subscribing to your Local/National group or in case there is no National Group in your country, by establishing a new National Group of ELSA in the respective country.
